Well, it just goes to show just how long it's been since I kept up with the latest here on dA. Imagine my surprise when I log on and suddenly my deviations for viewing are in STACKS. I swear I nearly did a happy dance in the middle of the computer lab. It may be a small thing but it shows how good dA is for artists and how well the administration responds to our needs. I never even thought to myself why can't we sort deviations according to artist, I just used to be overwhelmed by the amount (mainly because I've been letting them pile up for months).
Now that I've gotten that out of my system, I wanted to say that I participated in the Skule Arts Festival at the University of Toronto that was held in January. If I was really on top of things I would have posted something while it was still ongoing but sadly I was still hardly spending any time on dA then. Anyway, I was glad I submitted pieces cause you get this sense of pride and accomplishment just to see your work displayed, well physically. All of the photos shown were already posted here so you lucky people got to see them looooong ago.
In other news, I am once again vowing to do more art and be active here on dA. This time I WILL meet my goal and stop being lazy and procrastinating.
A shout out to all my fellow Trini's and if you're like me and missing Carnival...that's why C is streaming live on www.ctntworld.com
